WELCOME TO AMERICAN WINDOW BUJANOVAC

American Corner is opened in Bujanovac on August 18, 2005. This project is the result of cooperation between the Cultural Center “Vuk Karadzic” in Bujanovac,local government and the Public Affairs Office of the US Embassy in Belgrade.

The Window are small, American-style libraries created to help increase mutual understanding between Serbia and Montenegro and the United States by making available information about America in a variety of formats.They offer books, CD-ROMs, videos, Internet access, programs, and a professional bilingual librarian trained to help you find desired information about the United States.See the links below for background and current information about the Corners in Serbia and Montenegro, as well as their current programs
Special attention and resources are reserved for prospective students who need information on American colleges, scholarship and money-aid programs, curriculae and post-graduate studies in the US. Practice test, as well as info, on GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT and TOEFL is available. We also offer services of copying, printing (b/w and color), scanning, photocopying and Internet access (economic prices). Occasionally, we have guest presenters who will speak on a number of topics dealing with American life and culture.MEMBERSHIP IS FREE: you only need an ID-size photo for the membership card.
Every new member will receive handy bookmarker.
